The bathroom with a shower at Darnholm Cottage was cozy and inviting. I loved the warm and rustic decor, it made me feel right at home. As a casual traveler, this bathroom suited my needs perfectly.

The only thing I liked less was the size of the bathroom. Others may still enjoy it, though.

I had the best time staying at this cottage! It was so cosy and clean, and the location couldn't have been better. I loved exploring the beautiful surroundings and learning about the history of the area. The food at the local pubs and restaurants was absolutely delicious, especially the steaks at Brambles Bistro. The hosts were incredible, making our 1st wedding anniversary so special with their thoughtful touches and constant communication. I wish I could thank them in person!

    Not obvious to find.

The sea views were absolutely divine, and the free WiFi kept me entertained while I sipped my tea. Flamingo Land Theme Park was a mere 46 km away, which was great for a spontaneous giraffe encounter. Scarborough, 19 km from the holiday home, was a delightful place to explore.

Oh, how I loved the constant noise of seagulls at dawn. Such a peaceful and relaxing way to start the day.

We felt at home with the warm, homely feeling of the cottage. The cleanliness was impeccable and all the necessary amenities provided. The stunning decor and flower display added to the charm. The den with games and drinks was a fantastic addition. Great location near pubs, restaurants, and the beach.

We felt very much at home, no complaints.

This charming cottage, nestled in a picturesque coastal village, offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and historical charm. The four floors are meticulously designed with attention to detail, providing well-appointed rooms that are cozy and spotlessly clean throughout. The den/games room is a wonderful addition for family entertainment. The location in the village is great, and the hosts provide excellent communication and instructions. The cottage also boasts a lovely log burner and excellent WiFi coverage.

Some guests mentioned the noise from seagulls at dawn, though this is part of the area's charm and didn't deter from an enjoyable stay.

What a gem! This local cottage captures the essence of the past while offering modern comforts. It's fully equipped, cozy, and oozes with history. The flower display in the first bedroom is stunning, and the den is a brilliant spot to relax with tea, coffee, and games. The hosts, Iain and Angela, are fantastic and keep you well-informed. Perfectly located near pubs, restaurants, and a beautiful cobbled street leading to the beach. Can't wait to go back!

Felt special, nothing to complain about.
